Welcome to Artist Hanne Murray's online art gallery

Let me add some colour to your life! I am happy to take commisions - if you like one of my paintings, but want a different size I can make a similar painting. It will never be exactly the same unless you would like a print which is also a possibility. A unique piece of art makes a special gift to a friend or family member. I also use a photograph as inspiration for a painting. A photo from your vacation could make a beautiful painting to enjoy for many years. My paintings can be rented for a month at the time. Thank you to all of you who have helped me along the way with comments on my art, or bought some of it.

Art on this site include painted milkjugs, wall murals, original paintings and greeting cards. I have painted for 15 years as a selftaught artist, and I am now enjoying art classes at Vancouver Island University. I hope you will enjoy the online art gallery. I am working on some paintings of cats and would be happy to make a painting of your cat from a good photograph.

My Art work is published in New Art International 2009. Also, I had art published in Naturally Magazine in 2008.

I am very grateful for receiving an Award from Nanaimo Art Council 2009.

I am happy to donate artwork to schools and charities to help with fundraising. Places I have donated to in the past include: Danish Lutheran Church, Edmonton, Women shelter, Edmonton, Women Gathering Event, Edmonton, Kirkness Elementary school, Edmonton, Theatre One Nanaimo, Prince of Peace Catholic School, Hoover, AL and Vancouver Island University.
